a By retiring your vehicle, you’re ensuring that:

  • All hazardous components will be removed and diverted from the landfill
  • Parts that can be reused will be salvaged
  • Your vehicle will be responsibly recycled

PLEASE NOTE: Eligible participants must be owners of 1995 or older model year vehicles that are in running condition and have been registered and insured in Canada for the previous consecutive 6 months.

DECLARATION

Please carefully read each of the following statements. When finished, click the box to the left to indicate that you have read and understood each section.

Your application will not be processed if you choose not to agree to the following:

* I consent to the collection and use of the personal information I provide in this application form for the purpose of donating my car to Retire Your Ride. I understand that the information may be disclosed to the local Retire Your Ride Call Centre and applicable Automotive Recycler for the purposes of arranging to obtain my car.
* I understand and consent that the information I provide to Summerhill Impact and local Retire Your Ride partners will be used for the sole purpose of research, program development, statistical record keeping and organizational updates.
* This information will not be sold or released to any other party other than Summerhill Impact, the Provincial Administrator and Call Centre for your province, and the Incentive Providers, Charities and the Recycler with which you have had direct contact as a Participant in the Program. * I declare that I am the legal owner of the vehicle and will specify so in the Retire Your Ride application form. I acknowledge that, after my application is found to be eligible for the program, I will receive the reward of my choice. I authorize a Retire Your Ride participating Automotive Recycler to take possession of the vehicle and all its tangible parts for the purpose of dismantling, reusing and recycling its automotive parts.
